The experience

Good light, patient birds

The best photographs come from waiting in the right place.

The rainforest is dark and the birds move fast, so time and local knowledge matter. We plan sessions for the forest edge and the lodge garden, where the light is best, and for the quiet places where shy species feed.

Birds always come first: no flash on roosting owls, no playback at nests and a respectful distance at all times.
